Vancouver’s most anticipated and stylish day of the summer returns with the 11th annual Deighton Cup. Just imagine big hats, silk bow ties, and the sounds of champagne glasses clinking as horses race past the stands. This daytime festival is bigger than ever, set to host over 7,000 immaculately dressed attendees for an afternoon of fashion, fun, and adrenaline-pumping horse races.
It’s important to note that the horses aren’t the only ones competing at the derby. One of the main highlights of the Deighton Cup is the Style Stakes Best Dressed Awards. Attendees, along with a panel of celebrity and fashion-industry judges vote on the best looks of the derby. Only the boldest of the bold are able to win the cash prize, so have some fun with your outfit and make sure you’re styled to the nines.
A hat is a must-have to complete any derby outfit, which is why we’re once again hosting Entitled Fascinators at our shop. This year, Entitled Fascinators designer Benita Dibdin has pushed the fashion envelope further by creating even more intricate designs than last year’s fascinators.
